Viperid venoms typically contain an abundance of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! -degrading enzymes, called !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , that produce symptoms such as pain, strong local swelling and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , blood loss from cardiovascular damage complicated by !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and disruption of the blood clotting system. Death is usually caused by collapse in blood pressure. This is in contrast to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! venoms that generally contain !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that disable muscle contraction and cause paralysis. Death from elapid bites usually results from asphyxiation because the diaphragm can no longer contract. However, this rule does not always apply: some elapid bites include !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! symptoms typical of viperid bites, while some viperid bites produce neurotoxic symptoms. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Heh, I remember this stuff from last semester. We had a course in college about parasites, poisonous and venomous animals and other kinds of zoonosis. I specially remember our classes about venomous animals because the professor brought to class examples of not only the animals themselves, but anatomical pieces with the lesions caused by said animals, like a necrotic foot that had to be amputated because of a snake bite or a brain from a deceased naegleria host.
Good times. Actually, those were pretty gross times.

Was the class right before or right after lunch?

interesting, there's no native Dodge Vipers in Australia either. Only imports.

Right before... Every monday and tuesday, after genetics. Then we had lunch, and in the afternoon we had pathology on monday and approach to the medical practice on tuesday
Pathology was also a practical class, by the way, so we also got to see anatomical pieces, often fresh, recently chopped limbs affected from diabetic vasculopathies or internal organs ressected due to cancer.

Can I request an image to be shooped?

For serious? I can add you to the list, if you really want. Also the higher the resolution the better it'll look after I'm done.

Yes. That was the best quality one I found. I'm using mobile, so I don't know how good it looks.

I'm talking about that photoshop edit. Lets take the soft beautiful curves of the viper into photoshop and make them all blocky.
EDIT: Sorry, I'm very opinionated about the Viper.

You see thing is, you have your opinion, and I have mine and I must respect that. But I did what I did on request, and it was not yours. Now if Engineerrrrrrrrrrrrr tells me it looks like crap, I'll redo it from scratch. And in a few hours it will be done again. Or maybe you could do it yourself.
In the mean time here is the door which you may see yourself out.

Lol well played ....
... Just curious though, did you just posterize, or paint over it?
![]() 10/01/2013 at 00:38 |
|
I cut out each individual detail and like colored areas, do my best to get the average color, change the detail to that color, and then paste it all back together. I use no filters or posterizing (whatever the fuck that is).
That's my method, have at it, make one better.

I was just curious because I had to do something similar once for class.
But yea posterizing is a filter and looks like this just fyi.
![]() 10/01/2013 at 01:39 |

Honestly I thought he was using the posterizing filter too, but then I noticed the details still looked sharp.

Two different methods, his is more vector while yours is painterly. tbh it looks nothing like the crap posterizing/live trace produces

Yea once I gave his a better look you can tell its not a filter. I was making first glance assumptions.
